VOUNOT offers a wide range of practical products (maintenance, storage, cleaning) and decoration for the home and garden at the best value for money. Vounot contacted Scrowp in order to redesign and revamp their online store for better performance and to increase their sales.
The challenge
- Redesign the existing Shopify site and improve the complete design to reflect the brand values ββand highlight the products.
- Improve the visitor experience through smooth and clear navigation as well as efficient sales funnels;
- Improve the conversion rate through better organization of product pages;
- As the VOUNOT brand sells its items on several marketplaces, it was important to respect certain specifications when developing the future website.
The solution
- Full Site Audit: When we have an existing Shopify store with sales, before doing anything, a very important step is to analyze the current store. We studied and analyzed various technical, design and performance data and issued a plan of recommendations and actions before starting to work on the redesign of the site;
- Theme: we decided to change the Shopify theme because it was far too limited and the design aspect far too cold. Theme research is an important step in our work for site creations based on an existing Shopify theme, the objective being to select the best theme that meets all of the brand’s objectives.
- Custom website design and development: the objective here was not to choose a Shopify theme and then design the future online store based on this theme. Through customization and further development, we aim to create something unique and personalized for this successful brand, so we decided to create 4 page mockups (home page, about page, collection page and products) and put them in place through front and back end development.
- Without good SEO on search engines, a website will not be able to generate traffic and therefore online sales: we have carried out SEO work on the future site (titles and meta descriptions, URL redirection, etc.).
