Our main goal was to boost the organic traffic of our client’s website accordingly to the SEO service ordered.
SEO Case Study: The Challenges
We had to encounter several challenges while optimizing our client’s rankings in the search engine results pages. We will talk about some of them below.
1. Competitive Niche
Our client’s website is in the healthcare niche, which is one of the most competitive niches in eCommerce.
This meant that we had to compete with some of the top healthcare companies and websites to increase our client’s visibility in the SERPs.
These competitors tare all well-established since several years in the industry. When compared to them, our client’s website was new, which made the situation even more challenging.
2. Low Traffic
Our client’s monthly traffic was just 54 visitors per month from organic search. Which is very normal for a brand new Shopify store.
However, growing traffic in such a competitive niche was a challenge in itself. And that’s where our SEO strategy comes in.
SEO Case Study: The Strategy We Leveraged
To grow our client’s website traffic, we outlined a new SEO strategy, focusing on extensive keyword research, redesigning the hompegae on-page optimization, adding a Table of Content to the blog page, and more.
Our idea here was to ensure that we were able to create content that could rank well in Google searches and also give it the right impetus through other SEO techniques.
1. Redesigning the homepage
The first thing we did is redesigning the homepage to make look more professional and more attractive in order to optimize some of the Google analytics metrics such as (Time session duration, bounce rate, number of pages visited per user, …)
With a clear Call To Action on the first viewport on homepage, this will increase the chance that visitors go to the product page.
Moreover, since our client was using the Free Shopify theme Dawn, which is great for starter, however a Free theme doesn’t offer great features to boost the store sales and conversion, we had to implement a testimonial section to increase the trust for the new visitors.
2. Perfect site speed
The next step we used for making this SEO case study successful was to check the client’s site for site speed. Why so? Simply Because site speed is one of the most important factors for Google to rank your site in their first page and even the best of content won’t rank well in organic search results if it’s not optimized well. And without going further in details, let’s this speed score speaks for itself 🙂
3. Keyword Research and Competitor Analysis
In this section, we have studied our client competitors, analyzed their strenghs and their weakness, we have went in-depth in their keywords strategy, and we have ended finding the most relevant keywords for our client. We won’t discuss the details in this section as to preserve our client privacy and in order not to reveal our keyword strategy (yes we also have our competitors and they hate us because we are the best XD )
4. Internal links & backlinks
We have carefully studied the site internal links and analyzed the “already” existed external backlinks. We have conducted a great strategy to increase the number of backlinks, and also implement the accurate anchor text to increase the CTR ( Click Through Rate) from those backlinks.

5- Other SEO optimization

SEO Case Study: The Results
We were able to increase the organic traffic by more than 60%, the CTR has also seen a great increase, and what is great is that our client will continue to see those stats growing even after we have finished the 1 month SEO optimization.
